Ventizz founds management consulting company

January 26, 2009

Ventizz Capital Partners has established a new subsidiary in Switzerland: Ventizz Management Consulting AG, the private equity group´s new management consulting unit, focuses exclusively on Ventizz funds' portfolio companies. In-depth operational consulting for the portfolio companies aims to boost their growth still further.

Ventizz private equity funds acquire interests in technology-oriented companies in German-speaking and European regions, act as strategic and operational growth drivers and sell the companies at a profit after an average of five to seven years. At present the funds have 15 active portfolio companies and boost their growth at several levels: in addition to providing capital for necessary investments, the Ventizz funds generally pursue a buy and build strategy, supporting the respective management teams in making suitable add-on acquisitions. The new consulting company will advise the portfolio companies' management to optimize business processes and structures and support them when entering new markets to thus accelerate growth. The new company's tasks also include advising management teams in developing future-proof strategies and implementation concepts as well as further developing business models and providing competent support with ground-breaking corporate decisions.

Headed by the consulting expert Guido Bollue, a top-notch team is to be set up and grown over the coming months. Mr. Bollue spent 29 years with the international management consultant firm A.T. Kearney, Inc. and was a Principal before leaving the company. "We are very proud to have gained a tried-and-trusted and experienced consultant in the form of Guido Bollue to run Ventizz Management Consulting AG," commented Dr. Helmut Vorndran, CEO of Ventizz Capital Partners Advisory AG and President of the Board of Directors of Ventizz Private Equity AG. "His managerial background and experience in various international executive management positions and the broad expertise in advising companies in all phases of their development that he gained with A.T. Kearney mean that he will contribute to leveraging the potential offered by Ventizz' participating interest in an effective and target-oriented manner."
